Emmaville Cottage

Emmaville Cottage

The four room cottage is a rare, early, timber cottage constructed from materials imported from north America possibly in a ready-cut form.

The cottage was relocated to the Botanic Gardens precinct in 2013 with restoration of the cottage undertaken by the Orange Rotary Club in conjunction with Orange City Council and the Orange Community.

The cottage was handed over to Orange City Council on 17 February 2014.

The cottage is open daily from 9.00am – 4.00pm and is located in the Orange Botanic Gardens and Adventure Playground precinct.
